The Road to Freedom
Chorus 1:
Traveling the road to Freedom,
Not really sure where it goes.
Who knows where it’ll lead us,
Seekin the end of the road.

Time to leave this ole town,
bags packed ready to go.
Wearing our best traveling shoes,
And thumbin’s our ticket down the road.

Here we come Key West Florida.
Free spirits on the go.
Puttin aside political beliefs
thinkin bout our ultimate goal.

Chorus 2:
Off to Central and South America,
Via who knows what or how.
Cross that bridge when we come to it,
enjoying the trip for now.

After it’s said and done and over,
Still we are company.
Years from now we’ll do it again,
Next time with more family.

Chorus 3:

Years may pass, but time stands still,
Some wear their heart on a sleeve.
Others are “steady as ya go”
While many ponder . . . . . . what to believe?
